What to wear for a winter holiday in Tromsø?

Winter in Arctic Norway is beautiful, but temperatures can range from around -5°C to -25°C, and you'll spend a lot of time outdoors. Dressing properly will make your experience much more enjoyable.

1. Base Layer
Start with a wool or synthetic thermal base layer. Avoid cotton, as it absorbs moisture and makes you feel cold.

- Merino wool thermal top and bottoms
- Warm wool socks
2. Mid Layer
Your second layer should provide insulation.

- Fleece jacket
