Nordland is as diverse as you can only imagine. The polar circle cuts through Nordland county at Saltfjellet, some distance north of Mo i Rana. If you want to experience glaciers, waterfalls, steep mountains, white beaches, clear water, both sea and lake fishing, paddle, skiing and hiking cabin-to-cabin, this is for you. Nordland is so diverse, that it would take a lifetime experiencing it all. 

Did you know? Nordland holds nine National Parks, sixteen glaciers and a lot of spectacular beaches. Nordland has over 18.000 islands, including islets and reefs, and over 28.000 lakes. Meaning Nordland has lots of water, both on the coast and in the mountains. Bodø is the largest city with almost 50.000 people, so the conditions are quite small wherever you go.
